2025 / 2026 Professional Learning Days - remaining Inset days: 

As we approach the end of the academic year, we would like to remind you that there are no outstanding Professional Learning Days (INSET days) scheduled before the summer holidays.

The final day for pupils in school will be Friday 17 July 2026.

Information for September 2026:

Years 7, 10 and 12 will start school on Wednesday 2nd September 2026. All year groups will attend on Thursday 3rd September. During the first week of term, all new students will participate in a range of induction and administrative activities, including school photographs, cashless catering registration, and the distribution of key information about form groups, timetables, and daily school life. These activities will help ensure a smooth and successful transition into secondary school.

Transition Events Scheduled for 24th and 25th June 2026 - Cancelled

Unfortunately, due to the current weather warning and the decision taken by Bridgend County Borough Council to close secondary schools on Wednesday 24 June and Thursday 25 June, the Year 7 Transition Events have been cancelled. This decision has been made in the interests of the health, safety and wellbeing of pupils and staff and is outside the school's control.

We understand that this will be disappointing for pupils and families, particularly given the short notice. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding during these exceptional circumstances.

Should alternative transition arrangements be made, we will communicate these to parents and carers as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
