Coffee Morning Postponed - 13th June 2026

Please read information relating to key transition dates set below. Please note the arranged coffee morning has been postponed until 13th June. This event is by invitation only. Please contact your primary school for further information. Thank you.

Cancellation of the Transition Football Festival – 9th June 2026

Due to the current poor weather conditions and an unfavourable impending forecast, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the outdoor football festival for the safety and comfort of the pupils. Regrettably, we are unable to move the festival indoors as a Plan B, as our indoor sports facilities and halls are completely out of use due to ongoing exams. We are incredibly disappointed that the weather has gone against us, as we were so looking forward to welcoming your pupils.

Thank you for your understanding.

Transition Events Scheduled for 24th and 25th June 2026 - Cancelled

Unfortunately, due to the current weather warning and the decision taken by Bridgend County Borough Council to close secondary schools on Wednesday 24 June and Thursday 25 June, the Year 7 Transition Events have been cancelled. This decision has been made in the interests of the health, safety and wellbeing of pupils and staff and is outside the school's control.

We understand that this will be disappointing for pupils and families, particularly given the short notice. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding during these exceptional circumstances.

Should alternative transition arrangements be made, we will communicate these to parents and carers as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
