Vinteg:
As part of their Community Impact unit with the Prince's Trust, our Year 10 Dyfodol class has launched 'Vinteg' - a sustainable and eco-friendly uniform shop. Through this initiative, students gain valuable life skills by washing, drying, ironing, and packaging new or nearly new uniforms. This project not only promotes sustainability but also supports our local community!
At Brynteg we are very proud to offer a pre-loved, eco-friendly uniform service. Vinteg offers a range of uniform items that are new or almost nearly new. Vinteg is entirely dependent on the kind donations we receive, so we cannot guarantee that the item(s) you request will be in stock.
Please use this form to select the uniform you wish to order. We will send confirmation once the order is ready to be collected. If an item(s) ordered is currently not in stock, then you will be placed on the waiting list until it is available.
All items will be available to collect from the main reception in school. Should you wish pupils to collect on your behalf, this can also be arranged. If you wish to make a donation for these items, please do so via ParentPay.
If you have any queries regarding our uniform shop, please contact PemberC6@hwbcymru.net.
Grab and Go Food:
All pupils can access free breakfast bars and snacks from the Pupil Hub during the school day, should they find themselves without food or funds. Pupils arriving late to school will be offered a breakfast bar to help set them up for the day in a positive way. This scheme is kindly sponsored by Mrs Bucket - diolch yn fawr!
Pop-up Prom Shop:
This initiative aims to ensure that every student can enjoy their prom night without worrying about the cost of clothing and accessories. We understand that prom can be an expensive event, and we want to alleviate some of that financial burden by providing support through our pop-up shop.
Our mission is to make prom a memorable and happy occasion for all our students, regardless of their financial situation. To achieve this, we have gathered a variety of prom dresses, suits and accessories that have generously been donated to our school from local businesses and people from the local community. These items can be loaned to students for free.
Here’s how it works:
1. Free Loan of Prom Dresses and Suits: We have a wide range of formal attire in various sizes and styles. Students can borrow these items at no cost, ensuring they look and feel their best on prom night.
2. Accessories: In addition to dresses and suits, we also have a collection of shoes, handbags, ties, jewellery, and other accessories that can be loaned to complete a prom outfit.
3. Confidential and Supportive Environment: Our pop-up shop is designed to provide a confidential and supportive environment where students can try on and select their prom attire without any financial pressure.
We want every student to feel special and confident on their prom night, and our Pop-Up Prom Shop is here to make that happen. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact Brynteg School.
