The Siarter Iaith is a Welsh Government strategy to target the use of Welsh in schools across Wales. The aim of Siarter Iaith Cymraeg is to promote the use of Welsh in English-medium schools, establishing a Welsh ethos and encouraging pupils and staff to use Welsh in all aspects of their lives. The Charter provides a framework for schools to follow in order to achieve the awards. There are three levels of award; Bronze, Silver and Gold.

In February 2024 the school successfully achieved the Central South Consortium's Siarter Iaith Bronze Award; recognising the development of Welsh language across the school. A particular 'diolch' to Mrs Davies and Miss Berry for their presentations today, as well as Anwen Thompson and Samuel Thomas for representing the school fantastically well as our Criw Cymraeg.
