Year 10 Information:

Year 10 pupils are expected to attend all lessons when they are not sitting an examination. Any lessons missed without authorisation will be recorded as truancy. Unless the school has received written confirmation in advance of a medical or dental appointment, pupils are not authorised to leave the school site during the day. Pupils must also report to the Pupil Hub to sign out before leaving school site.

Lessons taking place between examinations are an important part of preparation for upcoming assessments, and attendance remains essential throughout the exam period.

We are aware that a number of pupils left the school site on Friday without parental authorisation for a legitimate appointment. As a result, truancy marks will be issued for the lessons missed.
