Welcome to the Sixth Form at Brynteg school, I extend a warm greeting to all students, parents, carers and members of our school community. As the Sixth Form Leader, I am delighted to introduce you to our dedicated team, which includes Mrs. Reardon, Ms. Clarke, and a group of experienced and enthusiastic Form Tutors.

I take immense pride in our Sixth Form and the remarkable journey of our students' development over the years. Our commitment to maintaining a harmonious blend of academic progress and a positive community environment has allowed us to create countless cherished memories for our students. In the Sixth Form, students are treated as young adults, granted responsibility and control over their learning. Simultaneously, they benefit from the supportive school structure, offering guidance, stability, and a nurturing environment. At the heart of our approach is the individualised care we provide for each Sixth Form student and setting personalised targets for positive outcomes.

Our aim is to ensure that the Sixth Form experience is both enjoyable and productive, providing students with opportunities to excel academically while enjoying the personal and social aspects of a dynamic Sixth Form community. Witnessing our students evolve into well-rounded young adults with the option of progressing to university is a privilege that I hope will endure for many years.

Key Dates for Current Sixth Form Students: 

YEAR 13:

Calling all Year 13s! The internal UCAS deadline is Friday 28th November 2025. Students applying for university should complete their applications as soon as possible. Please liaise with your UCAS Mentors for assistance and guidance. If you need further support, please contact          Mr A. Harris or Mrs E. Reardon. Thank you.

Exam Certificates:

Notice: we still have a number of uncollected exam certificates from 2021–2024. After February 2026 these certificates will be securely destroyed. Please read for more information.

Did you sit examinations in Summer 2025?:

There will be an examination certificate collection evening on Thursday 11th December 3.30pm to 530pm. This will be held in room 59A adjacent to the main reception in the Wellbeing block.

Are you a Year 11 student? Our new Sixth Form Options Booklet is now available! The deadline for option submissions is no later than 4pm on Friday 16th January 2026.
